- Lead HVAC design and installation for large-scale projects
- Supervise MEP teams on-site
- Ensure compliance with local codes and standards
Key Responsibilities
Design and specify HVAC systems (VRF, chilled water, ductwork) for commercial and residential projects.
Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment on-site, ensuring compliance with design specs.
Coordinate with MEP contractors, consultants, and site supervisors to resolve technical issues.
Conduct load calculations, energy efficiency analysis, and system performance testing.
Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and as-built documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices and safety standards.
Ensure all work complies with Dubai Municipality codes and ASHRAE standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of hands-on HVAC design and site experience, preferably in the UAE.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC load calculation software (HAP, Trace 700).
Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and Dubai Municipality/DEWA regulations.
PMP or CEM certification is a plus but not required.
Valid UAE driving license preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.
